How it works
From signing up to your assistant answering real clients. Our team does the building — your part is sending us what you already have, then reviewing and approving what we produce.
What the assistant does — and does not do
It explains investment concepts and your own products from the documents you approve, gives a verified client a read-only summary of their own portfolio, books time with their adviser, and hands off to a person.
It does not recommend what to buy, sell or hold, predict or promise returns, place trades, move money or change account details, and it never discusses one client's holdings with another person. Your advisers advise and decide.
Your 14-day free trial
Signing up starts your trial. There's no card required, and the trial is when we build your assistant — so you're evaluating one built on your actual documents, not a generic demo. The 14 days start the day it goes live.
Your dashboard shows how many days remain, and we email you before it ends. If the trial finishes without a plan, your assistant pauses — nothing is deleted, and everything picks up where it left off when you subscribe.
Step 1 — You send us your material
This is the only real work on your side. Send what already exists:
- Documents — fund factsheets, fee schedules, product guides, approved research and your disclosure wording. PDF, Word, plain text or spreadsheets are all fine.
- The names and work emails of your advisers, and who each client is assigned to.
- Who should receive complaints, suspected-fraud reports and concerns about vulnerable clients.
- Your client directory and holdings as a spreadsheet export, through the secure import our team sets up with you. Please don't paste client details into forms or emails.
It does not need to be tidy or complete. Structuring it is our job, and we'll come back to you with specific questions where something is missing.
Step 2 — We build and configure it
Our setup team works inside your account and does all of the following for you:
- Builds the knowledge base from your approved documents, so product facts come from them — with the document name, version and date — rather than from general knowledge.
- Writes the assistant's instructions: its tone, its limits, what it does when it doesn't know something, and when it brings in a person.
- Sets your disclaimer wording, which the system adds to every reply that contains figures or product facts.
- Sets up client identity verification, the adviser assignments and the confidential routes for sensitive matters.
Every action we take on your behalf is written to your audit log with who did it and when. Staff in a setup session cannot read your confidential cases or a client's holdings.
Step 3 — You test it
When it's ready, we hand it to you in a testing stage. Talk to it the way your clients would, and push on the awkward cases: a question your documents don't cover, a request for a recommendation, a client who is upset, someone asking for a person.
Tell us what's wrong and we adjust it. This repeats as many times as it needs to.
Step 4 — You approve, and it goes live
The assistant cannot go live until you explicitly approve it, and not until your disclaimer, your escalation contacts, your approved knowledge and (if portfolio tools are on) your client data are all in place. Until then it never speaks to one of your clients.
Once approved, we put it where your clients are:
- Your website or client portal — one line of code, which we give you or install for you.
- A shareable link, if you'd rather use it in an email or a client letter with no site changes at all.
Step 5 — You watch it, we keep improving it
Your dashboard is where you see what the assistant is actually doing:
- Clients — your directory; each adviser sees only the clients assigned to them.
- Meetings — requests clients made for a meeting or callback, which you confirm.
- Cases — confidential complaints, fraud reports and vulnerable-client matters, visible only to the owner and people they designate.
- Live Inbox — conversations in progress, with the option to take one over.
- Audit Log — every change, and every read of a client's holdings or a case.
You don't have to act on any of it. We review the same reports and update the knowledge base when your documents change — that upkeep is part of the service.
What if something's wrong?
Raise it from the Support section of your dashboard and it goes straight to our team with your account context attached. If the assistant said something it shouldn't have, tell us — we'll fix the underlying knowledge or rule, not just the one answer.
